Training Room Furniture Installation | Hoffman

We have a new installation to speak about.  This particular installation had its own set of challenges unique to this client, namely the floor.

 

Our task was to provide a set of 30 chairs, and 12 tables that work well together, but also match the floor.  As you can see in the above pictures, the flooring was not your typical training room floor.  The wood in the flooring had a specific finish which we attempted to match to the tables.  The tables also had to be nesting and mobile, so the room can be adapted to whatever training is required.  As you can see, they are nesting and on wheels, meeting the client’s criteria.

 

Both the tables and chairs were purchased from OFSBrands out of Huntingburg, Indiana.  These particular tables have many features perfect for a training function.  They are mobile, nesting, include a tapered edge for comfort, and even come equipped with the ability to grant USB and internet access.  The USB and internet access are located on the bottom portion of the tables, leaving the tabletop open for collaboration.  The chairs were from the Highmark line, specifically the Insync model and come complete with body balance control, meaning this chair will automatically adjust to a shift in your weight.  The arms on the chairs are slanted downwards and do not hit the table at their lower setting, reducing scuff marks from repeated use.

 

Shown here in the presentation format, something we normally refer to as the “T formation,” you can see how the tables blend almost seamlessly together to create a functional workspace without sacrificing the look of quality.  The chairs fit under the tables perfectly, and can be easily repositioned whenever the need arises.  The colors work well, but as per usual, the client picked them out so we can’t take any credit on that one!
