Factory Office Installation in Jasper | Hoffman
We have been very busy here at Hoffman Office Supply these past few weeks. We’ve had a lot of furniture installations to choose our November winner from, but ultimately we’ve chosen the most recent one we’ve completed.
This installation started in a newly constructed office area build above the existing production floor. This meant that everything had to be brought up stairs, and also meant limited staging area. No problem.
The challenge here was the limited space available to accommodate all the features the client desired. 6 offices, space for an industrial printer, and room to get around. This is what we came up with:
These Kimball Cetra system stations provide the maximum work space within the small area. Each station has a 36 inch and 48 inch wing attached to a 36 x 36 cornerpiece. Overhead cabinets attached to walls and panels provide extra storage space for the person working within. To further increase the room in which the consumers enter, leave, and otherwise occupy, wall tiles were used instead of panels. This serves as a wall for the system on which overheads can be hung, as well as a tack board. To finish each office, we used a Mesh-back task chair. This particular chair boasts a fully adjustable mesh back, durable fabric seat, and adjustable height. This encompassed the 6 offices in the main area.
This client also wanted us to transform a wall into a functional communication device in two offices.. To do this, we used Kimball Traxx to mount a top and bottom bracket to the wall and inserted two small panels much like the ones used in the outer offices, and a dry erase board in the center. This gives the wall the ability to be used as both a tack board and dry erase board. The customer was very pleased with the result.
This installation took us two full days to complete.
